I'm a fecking muppet. My boss has just sacked two members of staff, one's off on holiday and one's off "sick" (yeah, alright). SO what do I do? I capitulate and agree to work til 7 pm tomorrow night, from 7 am. It's bloody Halloween and I forgot my daughter has a party to go to at 5 pm. I need to find an excuse to get out of it, and I just....feel guilty that i'll be letting them down. But I CAN'T let evil child down because Halloween is THE holiday for her.

Also, I worked tonight for them, and the woman I worked with just watched while I ran around like a blue arsed fly putting the delivery out, carrying things up and down stairs to go on the shelves, in from the garage to go on the shelves, putting everything on said shelves, then decides to cash up her till and watches me try to serve, sweep the floor AND do the newspaper returns all at the same time. And then she can't even lock the shutter and the door properly at finish. I despise her. I don't mind lifting, carrying and running around madly if the other person is doing the same, but she JUST STOOD THERE WITH A STUPID FRIGGING INANE GRIN ON HER FACE AND
I WANTED TO SMACK IT OFF!!!!!!!

So...in conclusion, any idea's for excuses for tomorrow?
